Atlanta on TFV - 12/5/2006 10:30:38 AM So here the Falcons sit at 6-6. It has definitely been a disappointing season to say the least. While national media didn’t expect much more from the Falcons than an 8-8 finish or even a 7-9 finish. However, that feeling wasn’t shared in Atlanta. There was a sense of something much better. Week 1 fueled that feeling with a dominating win at preseason Super Bowl favorite Carolina.

Atlanta on TFV - 9/26/2006 5:44:53 PM Atlanta was embarrased last night on a national stage, and fans can blame one aspect. Coaching! The receivers played extremely bad. Crumpler dropped two TD passes (on the same drive so that would only account for 1 TD). The defense was spotty. Special teams gave up 10 points. However, those are exactly the kind of things you should have expected in a game like this.

NFL Articles - 9/10/2006 8:31:08 PM By Scott Dennis
Don’t believe the hype. The 2006 season is under way, and we are quickly finding out why professional NFL analysts are clueless like the rest of us. It is only one week, so we should all reserve judgment. However, this season is already showing signs of being exactly what the “experts” did NOT predict.

NFL Articles - 9/7/2006 7:03:56 PM Fall is my favorite season of the year. Yeah, it’s nice to lose that uncomfortable heat and humidity of the summer and the scenery of the leaves changing color is pretty and all, but I think most people reading this know why I’m such a fan of Autumn.
Tonight we see the defending Super Bowl Champion Pittsburgh Steelers take on the Miami Dolphins to kick off the NFL season. There are so many things to look forward to in the coming months on and off the field.

Atlanta on TFV - 8/30/2006 10:16:14 AM Before calling it a night, I decided to read one more NFL preview article. This one really caught my attention. Maybe I was just tired. The article predicted a 7-9 record for the Falcons and a last place finish in the NFC South. Interesting! The Falcons went 8-8 last year with a few games that should have made them 10-6.

NFL Articles - 7/21/2006 3:24:16 PM Now I am really starting to see signs of age. When Emmitt Smith’s game fell off and he needed to retire, it was okay because he began his career while I was still in high school. I was a kid watching him play college football at Florida. I never related to players who entered the league around that time or earlier. I definitely idolized them, but I always felt like a kid to them.
