ACC schools don't lower their standards. As for SEC schools....Just listen to UGA's Pres.
AJC article excerpt concerning the poor graduation rates at Georgia.
Athens — Despite an NCAA report that revealed poor graduation rates for its men's basketball and football teams, the University of Georgia will continue to accept some student-athletes who do not meet the university's admission requirements, President Michael Adams said Wednesday.
"We still have to compete in the [Southeastern Conference]," Adams told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution during a brief interview, his first public comments on the subject.
